For those of you who have been keeping up with the news, you know that Tyson laid off a bunch of people yesterday. Gary, thankfully, did not get laid off, but several people we know did. So, while we're grateful that we didn't get directly affected, it's pretty tough to see people you know and care about losing their jobs. Please keep them in your prayers. As for the status of my job (for those of you who read the newspaper), I feel pretty confident that my position will remain open if job cuts become the solution to balancing the budget....but you never know. However, next year is a mayoral election year, so everything's up in the air then. I'm really not worried, God hasn't let us down yet, even in times that it didn't seem like he was anywhere to be found it has always turned out he was there all along.
Neither of us really want to talk about jobs and/or politics when we get together with family and friends. We'd rather just enjoy your company and discuss the usual bs that we're accustom to. So we'd appreciate it if you'd please not ask us a million questions about it. We'll keep you posted if any new information comes up.

Glad Gary was in the clear. I've heard it's been stressful at Tyson again.
We will be in town next Friday for Thanksgiving!!! Can't wait to see you guys! Hope it will work out for all of us to get together.
Thanks for keeping us updated. God is so faithful!
Gary's job is probably safe since he has the dirt on what everyone at Tyson's been looking at on the internet. :-)
So glad to hear Gary's safe. That really is a blessing. We are thankful that even though Brandon's department was cut, they were able to put him into a new department. I'm so thankful he still has a job! Like Amy said, God is so faithful.
I love you, Kellye! You are so blunt and to the point. You always make me laugh out loud! You are a girl after my own heart! : ) So glad things are going well!
