IT'S A BOY

After 3 daughters and 1 granddaughter, my Dad will FINALLY have a male blood descendant. This being the first grandson, we've decided to combine our Dad's names and name him Leonard Jack, or "LJ." Other than finding out the gender, we counted 10 fingers and toes, all the organs and limbs looked good, and his head circumference measured just a wee bit bigger than expected (he must have inherited Gary's intelligence!)

Cruise Pics Part 2

Koko Beach in St. Thomas...we pretty much spent the entire day there just basking in the sunshine.

We all took a catamaran around the island of Antigua. We stopped at a remote beach, had lunch, swam and soaked up the sun. Not to mention they had an open bar :)....unfortunately I'm pregnant so I was only able to partake in the fruit punch (which was delicious)!





In Tortola we took a ferry to Virgin Gourde where we went to the Baths; a section of sea that is almost completely surrounded by large granite boulders. Several of the boulders have fallen onto each other over the years creating "caves." (More rock structures in Part 3)

Okay, I'm FINALLY getting some of our cruise pictures out there for everyone to see. Here goes:

We're Home

I didn't want the entire blogging community to know that our home was going to be vacant for over a week, so I didn't post that we left for the Caribbean on Friday, Jan. 4th. We took an 8 day eastern Caribbean cruise to San Juan, St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola, and Nassau with our cousins, Kevin and Lindsey (Gary's cousin and his wife). We had a blast. We got home late last night to a house full of 2 very confused kitties. Nala seemed to do okay with Faye taking care of her, but Binx is a Momma's boy and no one else will do. I'll follow up with a detailed post and pictures hopefully today or tomorrow, but I just thought I'd let you all know that we made it home safe and had a fantastic trip!
